Alison Raby is a narrative painter and printmaker who uses collages and theatrical models to build imaginary worlds or heterotopias which mirror, unsettle or invert the real world.  Her art practice reflects career as a woman in a 'man's world' and her interest in women who are not deterred by gender stereotypes.
